As an NRL and ARU accredited Player Agent, Col’s roles and responsibilities within Life Arena include providing guidance to athletes throughout their sporting careers and to negotiate and advise on professional playing contracts. Drawing on his previous industry experience in the finance, sales and recruitment industries, Col is also well equipped to seek commercial and professional opportunities for our clients.
Col has an extensive involvement in rugby league as a player and coach, and as a manager and selector of under-age regional, state and national representative teams. Through this involvement, Col has built an impressive network of contacts and relationships in the rugby league community.
Matthew commenced with Life Arena in March 2007. As Financial Manager, Matthew is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of Life Arena and provides personal financial guidance and assistance to our clients. Matthew also assists our Player Agents in providing financial advice in the structure of athletes’ contracts. Prior to joining Life Arena, Matthew spent five years at Whytes CPA, where his role was to provide accounting and taxation advice and services to professional sports people and sporting organisations.
Matthew has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) and Bachelor of Leisure Management (Sports Management) and is currently completing CPA.
Simon commenced with Life Arena in April 2007 as an NRL and ARU accredited Player Agent. Simon has spent the last 3 years running his own business as an independent agent working in a variety of sports including rugby league, rugby union & cricket where he has developed strong relationships with professional clubs, states and unions.
Simon has drawn on his previous experience in Senior Sales and Management roles in both local and international organisations, together with Brisbane Premier Grade and Representative Rugby Union Team management experience, to develop into an agent that understands and serves his client’s needs professionally, with integrity and honesty.
Rheann commenced with Life Arena in July 2007 as our Office Manager. Rheann brings with her the combination of administration and hospitality experience to our team. For the last 2 years Rheann had been working as an Office Manager in a consultancy firm. Along with her energetic personality, Rheann brings an extensive level of knowledge and expertise to ensure the smooth & efficient running of the Life Arena office.
