Sam Thaiday

Sam Thaiday

Sam Thaiday is a rugby league footballer who plays for the Brisbane Broncos of the National Rugby League. An Australian international and Queensland State of Origin representative forward, he has spent all of his career at the Broncos, with whom he won the 2006 Premiership.

This guitar-playing hit-up forward was the Broncos Player of the Year in 2008 and has become a mainstay of the Queensland Origin side.

Dave Taylor is an Australian professional rugby league footballer currently contracted to the South Sydney Rabbitohs of the National Rugby League (NRL). Prior to signing for Souths he played for the Brisbane Broncos until the end of the 2009 season.

Dave had an up and down season in 2008, but as a fitter player this year, he is on track to realize his massive potential.

Neville Costigan

Neville Costigan

Neville Costigan joined the Newcastle Knights team in 2011. Costigan is a Queensland State of Origin and Papua New Guinea international representative, and previously played for the St George Illawarra, Brisbane Broncos and Canberra Raiders clubs. Costigan primarily plays in the forwards.

...2010 led Costigan to finally become a premiership winning player when St George won it’s first premiership in 31 years this was his last game for the Dragons and the beginning of his career with the Newcastle Knights after signing a 3 year contract where he hopes to hit his 200 game milestone.

Alex Glenn

Alex Glenn

Auckland-born utility Alex Glenn, a Northcote junior, captained Brisbane's Toyota Cup team in 2008 and played for the Junior Kiwis in their memorable victory over the Junior Kangaroos in Wellington in 2007.

Glenn is a utility for the Broncos, although in late 2009 he was covering for centre Justin Hodges on the right hand side of the field with Israel Folau. Glenn proved he could also play lock in 2008. He is seen as a 10+ year player for the Brisbane Broncos.In 2009 he played in 24 NRL games, standing down in Round 25 vs the Dragons to an ankle injury.

Andrew McCullough

Andrew McCullough is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Brisbane Broncos of the National Rugby League. He usually plays at hooker. While attending Brisbane State High School, McCullough played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2007. He made his debut in the Telstra Premiership against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks on 17 May 2008.

Jharal Yow Yeh

Yow Yeh was named in the Indigenous All-Stars team to face the NRL All-Stars in early 2010. In the All-Stars match, Yow Yeh injured his leg and missed the start of the 2010 NRL season.

While attending St Brendan's College in Yeppoon, Hunt was placed on a scholarship with the Broncos. He achieved much while at St Brendan's College with the team reaching the Queensland final of the Arrive Alive Cup in 2007. Also during 2007, Hunt was selected for the Australian Schoolboys after a strong showing for the Queensland Secondary Schools Rugby League team during the A.S.S.R.L 2007 National Championships.

Josh McGuire

Josh McGuire

Josh McGuire a rugby league player who plays for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League (NRL).

He primarily plays at prop. McGuire made his debut in round 3, 2009, against the New Zealand Warriors. He scored his first NRL try with the Brisbane Broncos against the Cronulla Sharks which lead to a 30-10 win.

Jamie Simpson

Jamie Simpson

Jamie Simpson now plays for the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League as either a centre or on the wing.

Once given the opportunity in the NRL, Simpson’s debut season was a major success and his 2009 season included a hat trick of tries in round 20. He was also nominated by the Rabbitohs for the Ken Stephen Medal and was the winner of the Souths Cares Award for his contribution to the community. Jamie has also beaten cancer twice.

Dunamis Lui is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Brisbane Broncos in the Toyota Cup (NYC). He primarily plays Prop.

He made his debut for the broncos coming of the bench against the dragons in round 3, of the 2010 competition, which resulted in a stellar debut, with 14 hit ups for 120 meters and 20 tackles in 35 minutes.

Billy Rogers

Billy Rogers

Rogers started his career at the Broncos after some stellar high school efforts. Rogers’ high school resume makes for impressive reading: Australian under-15s, AIS, Queensland under-17s and schoolboys.

In 2011 Billy moved from Melbourne and signed with Parramatta Eels and has already made quite a strong impression as a hard worker. Billy made his NRL debut with Parramatta Eels on 25/03/2011 at ANZ Stadium against South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Dane Chisholm

Chisholm joined the Storm after being discovered while playing on the wing for NSWCHS.

He was quickly switched the five-eighth and spent the season between there, the wing, centre and fullback. Played five-eighth in the Storm’s under-20s grand final win. Has re-signed until the end of 2011.

Tariq started playing rugby league as a junior for the Gerringong Lions where his earliest memory of the sport is playing without a pair of proper footy boots.......

In 2011 he was selected to play in the emerging NSW Origin Squad as well as being signed with the North Queensland Cowboys and is expected to make his NRL debut.

Dane Gagai

Dane Gagai has a good family line of NRL players being the son of former Broncos player Ray Gagai as well as a cousin of Wendall Sailor and fellow Bronco Josh Hoffman.

Dane made his first grade playing debut for the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on 11/03/2011 against the North Queensland Cowboys.
