Billy Rogers
Rogers started his career at the Broncos after some stellar high school efforts. Rogers’ high school resume makes for impressive reading: Australian under-15s, AIS, Queensland under-17s and schoolboys. He played Queensland Cup as an 18-year-old while with the Broncos but left at the end of 2008 to join Melbourne.
From there, Rogers, from Gympie, didn’t look back. The tough as nails back-rower impressed everyone with his attitude in the Storm’s under-20s system and was duly promoted after overcoming a knee injury to help his side claim the youth premiership.
